Classic Cookie Dough Ice Cream

In a large bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until the sugar is fully dissolved.

Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to enhance the flavors.

Once chilled, pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.

While the ice cream is churning, prepare the edible cookie dough by combining flour, brown sugar, and butter in a bowl. Stir in the chocolate chips.

Once the ice cream is ready, gently fold in the chunks of edible cookie dough and swirl in the chocolate fudge sauce, being careful not to overmix.

Transfer the mixture to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm.

Scoop into waffle cones or bowls and drizzle with additional chocolate fudge sauce if desired.
