Classic Twix Bar Bites

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.

Gradually add the all-purpose flour and salt to the butter mixture, mixing until a dough forms.

Press the dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Let it cool completely.

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the sweetened condensed milk and light corn syrup, stirring until smooth and heated through.

Pour the caramel mixture over the cooled biscuit base, spreading it evenly. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes until the caramel is set.

Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave or double boiler until smooth. Pour the melted chocolate over the set caramel layer, spreading evenly to cover completely.

Sprinkle the sea salt over the chocolate while it is still warm. Refrigerate again until the chocolate is firm, about 20 minutes.

Once set, cut into bite-sized pieces and enjoy.
