Classic Fettuccini Alfredo

Cook the fettuccini pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Pour in the heavy cream and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.

Season the sauce with salt and black pepper to taste.

Add the cooked fettuccini to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta in the Alfredo sauce.

Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan and a sprinkle of chopped parsley.
