Soak breadcrumbs in milk for 5 minutes.

Mix ground beef and pork in a bowl. Stir in soaked breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, egg, and season with salt and pepper.

Form mixture into small balls and brown them in a pan with some butter. Set aside when done.

For mashed potatoes, boil the potatoes until tender. Mash with butter, cream, and season with salt and white pepper until smooth.
