Salted Chocolate Chip Cookies

Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.

In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Stir in the chocolate chips.

Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving some space between cookies.

Sprinkle sea salt flakes on top of each cookie.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is still slightly soft.

Let cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
